World Cup Fever

The World Cup finals are here at last, the real ones that is. Our own version held this week at the amazing Lloyds of London building produced a Portugal V Nigeria final, with England being knockout out at the Q/F stage. Portugal were evetually crowned as World Champions which is just as well as that was the clients team ! The event 'Football Crazy' is our great table football tournament it was really good fun with guest from all over the world representing this years world cup finalists.

Were on a busy run of events at the moment with a couple of conferences in The North East and Yorkshire to arrange and quite a few more of our regulars returning for their annual summer events, including a big bash in the Birmingham.

September to December is usually a busy time so if you are thinking of holding an event in the Autumn then please  get in contact as early as you can, we have had to turn down a couple of last minute enquiries recently as we were already completely booked up. Over recent years lead times on events seem to be getting shorter and shorter or maybe thats just me getting older.

 

April Update

Our latest batch events have have come and gone including a garage car launch promotional event for a client in Workington, Cumbria which was also a celebration of the opening of the towns new bridge, good luck to them, I know it must have been a real problem having no bridge in the town.

We also have just done a really nice team building evening event up in Scotland near Glasgow to be more exact, it was for a branch of the NHS, I have been told by my staff to say how nice the guests were ! We provided a simple ice breaker at the end of dinner which contributed to the number of casino chips each guest took into the classic casino which followed dinner.

Our Gameshow Mania (Surrey) and Company Fortunes (Newcastle) events were also a big sucess, I would just like to put on record my thanks to the team for all they did at what was a very difficult time for my self, a heart felt thanks all.

We've just signed up a return booking for the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association ) to provide equipment for the players lounge at the Aegon Championships, Queens Club, London again this year. Centrica have come back to us and booked a James Bond  style Christmas Party with us and Lloyds of London have re booked one of our World Cup packages following the  sucess of the last event we did for them.

Also looking like we'll be looking after the production of a conference for a few days in June, it's amazing how some dates are more popular than others, I think it's called 'sods law'. I know at least 4 companies are looking to book us on the same dates.

I was a bit disappointed that a planned corporate Comedy Club night did not happen in the end, I was looking  forward to winning the joke competition with one of my 'classics'.

After a quiet couple of weeks it's gone mad !!! At the moment we're planning for a Company Fortunes event at The Baltic in Newcastle or as I should say Gateshead, yes it's our version of Family Fortunes. We've got new props on the way and our host is back from hosting his very own TV show in Russia.

Also we've got a GameShow Mania event to pull together,  a Junkyard Challenge event (hopefully) in Scotland and a James Bond party on the same day in Glasgow  to look forward too. We have had enquiries for a Corporate Comedy Club event and a even a Teddy Bears Picnic event to think about. Hopefully the World Cup will come up with a few good events to sit along side our existing Family Fun days.

Away from the events, we've supplied games for a huge party in London, with arcade machines , casino tables and inflatables all with a space theme and we're making a flat pack bespoke giant buzzwire which is being shipped to an exhibition in the USA.

New Website

Hello all,

First of all I hope you like the 'new' web site let's face it it has to be better than our last one. You'll see that we have around 50 corporate events already on the site and more to follow soon I hope. If you can't find what you are looking for just get in contact and we'll do our best to dream something up for you.  March 2010 is throwing up some interesting events with a Company Fortunes team event in Newcastle to prepare for and quite a few other event to plan for, thanks to all those booking with us this month (and every month).

Amazingly every event (from London to Leeds and up to Edinburgh)  we have bookied in this month have worked with us before, I guess that tells you something good, or I suppose it just could be our old web site was really really bad !!!!!
