Training Day
It may not be Hollywood, but this is your chance for 15 minutes of fame! In the Training Day your team will be required to assign a director, camera man, costume designer, script writer and cast to produce and star in a documentary of your choice. Be it a 3 min health and safety spoof training video, reading the news (headlines of your choice) or any other topic you decide.
Your teams first task is to story board your intended script and present this to our industry professionals. The strength of your presentation and the creativeness of your script will determine the budget you are awarded to produce your film.
Presentation over, you will be asked to decide how much of your budget you wish to spend on each of the props, costumes, and filming time. This is an important decision so spend wisely.
Once the filming is complete, the event draws to an end with the screening of the finished articles. Our 1980’s hosts complete with thick glasses and checked shirts will then give their industry professional opinions on each of the films. The winning film crew will be awarded the golden contract to go on and create the rest of the series.
