Classic Carnival
If you've got a loyal staff / volunteer team who have produced the goods for you this year then how about rewarding them with a family fun day they won't forget! The 'Classic Carnival' provides large groups of people with a visual, interactive spectacle that will keep all ages thoroughly entertained throughout the day.
This outdoor circus event revolves around a main arena (or marquee), with 1-2 main stage performances taking place at set times throughout the event. To complement the main stage performance a series of smaller areas will be designated to circus skills workshops. These workshops will allow parents and children alike to have a go at juggling, clowning and stilt walking to name a few. Giving guests the opportunity to try and recreate what they have seen in the main arena. As an extra touch and to provide guests with an opportunity to see the acts close up, a team of eight walkabout performers will be covering the event site. Each walkabout performer has their own unique act from fire-breathing to the stilt walking. These performers will confuse, entertain, and delight guests at points in the day where they may be queuing for games, or enjoying lunch.
Additional activities can be added such as 'The Sports Day' where guests compete in races such as the egg and spoon race, sack race and three-legged race. All tying in with the traditional carnival theme.
This event can also provide an inspiring musical experience with a choice of African drumming, steel drums or samba band to provide the ultimate carnival atmosphere.
