Off The Wall has worked on many exciting projects over the last twelve months including in the North East an Oriental Themed Ball @ The Marriott, Gosforth Park, Newcastle for the NSPCC and 400 guests which raised over £70,000 for the charity. There were painted backdrops, themed Chinese style dinner tables, dancing dragons, geisher girls and huge projected images. Hosted by special guest Alan Shearer it proved to be a fabulous eveing for all and a great result in terms of fundraising.
Aegon approached us to help with their Away Day for staff from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds to be held at a suitable location in Cumbria. Carlisle Race course was chosen and their staff arrived to be greeted by breakfast followed by their conference on the ground floor with full conference set. Following a buffet lunch Aegon had requested a bespoke teambuilding event to be held upstairs in the race boxes with a 'horse theme'. Off the Wall Came up with Picture Perfect which proved so popular that it has been added to our event list. This was followed by a Gameshow style Awards Ceremony where top members of staff were invited to 'come on down' to collect their prizes along with a framed photograph taken earlier by the Off the Wall photographer.
We were approached by a branding company to do an event for one of their top clientsO2 in Preston, Lancashire. They wanted an event to motivate some of their top sales staff to achieve their sales targets. We cames up with a Gameshow to be held in short stints running throughout the day, this proved to be so popular that several more similar style events were booked throughout the year in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Chester and York.
Tesco's were looking for an evening teambuilding event for 180 of their top managers to be held in Bracknell, Berkshire. They decided to choose Gameshow Mania and as Paul McShane their corporate bookings manager said 'it was a fantastic night and enjoyed by everybody, I've had loads of emails saying what a great night they had. I'm glad I booked Off the Wall as you got the night off to a great start, very well done!'
Bookings are already coming in for 2008/2009 including a bespoke Treasure Hunt for large pharmaceutical company Sanofi Aventis. They want to bring some of their top executives from Europe over to Northumberland and show them around the county. It was decided to hold the Treasure Hunt at Housteads Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall with it's spectacular views. Sanofi Aventis guests will be guided around the magnificent ruins by the Off the Wall Roman costumed staff and a host of themed clues.
Honeywell Control Systems approached Off the Wall with an emergency request, they had been let down by another event company and needed us to organise a Team Olympics for them at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Reading for 50 of their top clients from all over Europe. Despite only 5 days notice and 4 other events already being held on the same date the event was a resounding success, everybody loved it and we are currently in talks with them for their next event.
